How the planner works
Each row starts from a holiday that is a day off in the Germany holiday calendar we use, with its substitute day when it falls on a weekend. It assumes a Monday-to-Friday week. The suggested leave days join the holiday to the nearest weekend or other holiday, using at most four days of leave, and the row shows the option with the most days off for each day of leave.
Employers, schools and regional calendars can add or move days. Check your own working pattern before booking.
